1. High-speed motor efficiency test
High-speed motors have high power density, but the loss per unit volume is also large, especially the windmill loss and eddy current loss of the rotor are dozens of times that of ordinary motors. The efficiency of the high-speed motor can be obtained through the measurement of the input power of the motor (including voltage, current, power, power factor, etc.), output measurement (speed, torque, power, etc.), and excitation measurement. Through the high-speed motor efficiency test, it is the key to analyze the relevant loss of the high-speed motor, which is the key to the structural design of the high-speed motor, the improvement of mechanical characteristics, the improvement of heat dissipation capacity, and the reduction of loss.

2. High-speed motors are generally powered by frequency converters, which are very sensitive to the fundamental frequency and harmonic components of the power supply system. The voltage waveform output by the inverter is a PWM wave. In addition to the fundamental wave, it also contains a large number of high-order harmonics of integer multiples of the carrier frequency, which will bring high-frequency additional losses to the high-speed motor. Therefore, the monitoring of the operating status and reliability of the power supply system is very necessary.
