Moreover, after decades of exploration and practice, there are as many completion methods available for horizontal wells in my country as for vertical wells, that is, there are almost no major technical problems in the completion of horizontal wells in conventional oil and gas reservoirs. The main technical difficulties in the completion of horizontal wells in my country are: 1) how to balance the fluid drainage of horizontal wells and improve development efficiency; 2) how to perform multi-stage fracturing for horizontal wells in low-permeability sandstone oil and gas reservoirs.

To solve such problems, we can adopt: 1) joint control of water and gas ridge in water production and gas production; 2) staged water control completion in perforated wells; 3) staged water control completion in open-hole wells; 4) downhole intelligence in horizontal wells Look for water plugging and stratified production and completion technology; 5) Balanced drainage and completion technology for horizontal wells.
