Daqing Drilling's "Research and Application of Ultra-Short Radius Horizontal Well Drilling and Completion Technology" project was established in January 2020. It has successively overcome technical problems such as ultra-short radius and high build rate orientation, small wellbore wall stability, and horizontal section trajectory control. Selecting tools and instruments such as high-deflection multi-angle screw, high-strength titanium alloy drill pipe, high-performance drilling fluid system, and ultra-small size while drilling tools, the ultra-short-radius horizontal well technology has been continuously improved, and the curvature radius is less than 30 The drilling and completion technology of ultra-short radius horizontal wells with a horizontal section of more than 200 meters.
